The food industry, where food is produced, which is an essential need of people, has been one of the least affected areas even in times of crisis, such as the pandemic we live in. Due to its essential nature, the food industry is overgrowing day by day and developing simultaneously. Especially following rapidly changing and evolving technologies creates solid competitive environments. Adapting the innovation in the industry to production to keep up with the increasing competition with the rapid progress of technology can be achieved with a good team. In this competitive environment, the need for qualified personnel to take part in production increases day by day. Producing exportable foods with high added value in the international market will be possible by training qualified personnel for the food industry.
Mersin Tarsus OSB Vocational School of Technical Sciences Food Technology Program has qualified and experienced academic staff and modern education. It aims to train successful individuals who work in the food ındustry with the abilities that are self-confident, entrepreneurial, know how to access information, have analytical thinking skills, and have a sense of responsibility.
